How does the quoting process work?
When you a request a quote, you are added to our quotes list/mapping system. Our quoter will then come by and give you a quote as soon as possible.
Please note that you do not need to be home. If the quoter requires more information/details, they will contact you.
If there are any locked gates or accessibility issues, please let us know. Our quoter will simply come by, assess the tree (e.g. species, condition, accessibility, etc.) and take pictures and they will send a quote via email.
What happens after I accept a quote? When can I be scheduled?
Once you accept our quote, we will send you an email with a confirmed date, approximate arrival time and the scope of work as well as further instructions. Please reply to the email to confirm that the date works for you and if the scope of work is correct.
Is Toronto Tree Removal Inc. insured?
Toronto Tree Removal Inc. is insured for $5 Million in liability Insurance and our workers are covered by WSIB.
Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
What if my tree needs a permit? What is the permitting process like?
If you accept our quote and your tree requires a permit for its removal, we will put you in touch with our consulting certified arborist to take you through the permitting process.
We recommend budgeting an additional $1,200 for permit-related costs. These costs include:
· An arborist report (approximately $350+HST)
· Non-refundable application fee (fees may vary. Please refer to the Permit to Injure or Remove Trees on the City of Toronto website; link below)
· Cost of replacement native shade tree (approximately $600) or payment in lieu of replanting (determined by the City).
Please note that getting a permit from the city is not guaranteed.

What are your payment options?
We prefer payment by cheque or by e-Transfer.
We also accept credit cards; however, there is a processing fee for credit card payments (approximately 3.4%).
What are your Service areas?
We primarily serve the downtown Toronto area as well as some surrounding areas such as North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough. We may service some areas outside Toronto. Please contact us to confirm.
Do you provide replanting services?
We do not provide tree replanting services; however, we would be happy to refer you to our esteemed colleague who can take care of your replanting needs.
Do you provide chemical spraying services?
We do not do root, chemical spraying/pesticides/inoculation. However, we would be happy to refer you one of our colleagues who can do these types of work for you.
